+ Chad's father, Rex, works as an air traffic controller.

+ Chad has a very large and supportive family. He has three brothers (Rex, Nick, and Brandon) , one sister (Shannon), one half brother (Tyler), one step brother (Johnny), and one step sister (Shannon).

+ His mother abandoned the family when Chad was 10 years old.
